Dr Simon Jeffery, Senior Lecturer in sustainable technology said: “Chiara excelled at all aspects of her course during her time at Harper, including both taught and research elements, achieving top marks in her taught modules.
“For the research element, Chiara worked with diligence and rapidly gained an excellent understanding of the topic allowing her to produce an excellent thesis, which contains three research chapters of publishable quality, and for which she is awarded this prize.
“Further to her academic excellence, Chiara fitted in excellently with the team and made a lot of good friends during her time at Harper. She will be missed. She strongly deserves to be awarded this prize and we are certain that she will go on to achieve great things!”
