Today we welcomed prospective students for the final time this year on our Open Campus Day. The event invited families to explore the university, speak to lecturers and ask any questions they may have about studying and living at Harper Adams.
At the Welcome Talk, Outreach Manager Kimberley Chadwick spoke about why students should choose Harper Adams, saying, "We have some state of the art facilities that give students the chance to explore and research. This informs our teaching but also prepares students for their placement year, where they work in the industry for a year. It's fantastic at preparing you for challenges and finding out more about the world around you."
Prospective students were given a tour of the campus by student ambassadors who gave anecdotal advice and information to give the visitors an idea of both the campus layout and what to expect from accommodation, the SU, and learning facilities. There was also a course exhibit where academic staff were available to answer questions regarding course structure, assessment types, and other enquiries related to the degree.
Overall, it was a positive day for prospective students to learn more about degrees that matter. Should you be interested in attending campus to discover more about our degrees, you can attend our Land and Property Management experience day on February 5th. The event will teach you about valuation, land and property law, auctioneering and much more.
