Jonathan Gill, a mechatronics researcher based at Harper Adams, recently delivered a presentation at the Nuffield Farming Scholarship Trust event.
Under the title, “How do we embrace automation in agriculture?”, Jonathan spoke about the findings of his research that were backed by his Nuffield Farming Scholarship. As part of the Hands Free Hectare project, Jonathan was able to draw from a variety of sources from eighteen months of research to answer his proposed question. You can watch his presentation below:
Such research is now being put to work in the Hands Free Farm, based on Harper Adams' campus, and Jonathan continues to expand his knowledge and experience of automated agricultural systems. To read more about the event, please click here.
