October saw Harper Adams University once again be recognised for our academic success by entering into the top 30 in the THE Table of Tables 2020, achieving 25th place. As only one of two newcomers to the list, this was a great achievement to highlight how we are recognised by national newspapers as a university, but also to bolster our students further after being named Modern University of the Year and runner-up for UK University of the Year in The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.
Vice Chancellor Dr David Llewellyn said: “Breaking into the top 30 of the Times Higher Education Table of Tables is the latest success for Harper Adams in a remarkable year for the University. We develop and deliver specialist subjects that address vital global issues, whilst providing our students with a strong and supportive academic experience that will serve them well in their careers. We believe that our outstanding staff, extensive industry connections and ground breaking research lie behind our recent success. We will continue to bring this winning combination to bear on some of the biggest challenges facing humankind in the years ahead.”
By breaking into the top 30, Harper Adams joins other West Midlands universities, University of Warwick and University of Birmingham. The positions are calculated by compiling points based upon ranked positions in The Good University Guide, The Guardian and The Complete University Guide.
2019 has been a year of successes for Harper Adams University and we appreciate the hard work our staff and students have put in to make this achievable.
