Today marks the start of National Careers Week where we are celebrating the amazing opportunities our students can achieve with a degree that matters.
Running from the 2nd to 7th March, the event aims to empower all students and give them guidance about the variety of different roles in the working world. Here at Harper Adams, this is a service we offer all year round through our Careers Service team who support and aid students in finding work experience, placement, and graduate roles. Here’s just a flavour of what you can get involved in…

From the success of this forum, the Careers team have set up i-start, a business start-up workshop. This will help support the foundational stage of creating and setting up a business as well as give students key skills on how to help their ideas grow. Whether you are a business student looking for more experience or any other member of the student body looking to pick up skills for the first time, this is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of.
Along with this, we encourage past and present students to join the newly formed Harper Adams University Careers and Networking LinkedIn. The group will help students connect with employers while having a space to share thoughts, discuss ideas, and ask questions about anything related to careers.
For more information about how to get help and advice from the Careers Service, you can click here. You can also see their Facebook page for updates and messages. Further, you can email the team here to ask any questions or book an appointment.
If you are a prospective student and looking into a career between field and fork, join us on our open day, March 21, and meet the team who can advise about the opportunities that await you. You can register your interest below.
