Academics from across the disciplines at Harper Adams University will be presenting at an online webinar on December 2nd.
Focusing on developing a Code of Practice for autonomous crop equipment, the webinar will be led in collaboration with the Global Institute for Agri-Tech Economics, the National Centre for Precision Farming, Agri-EPI and the Hands Free Farm Team.
With the recent drafting of an Australian Code of Practice for Autonomous Crop Equipment, the participants are seeking to engage with farmers, industry and researchers to discuss and progress the development of a code of practice for robotic operations in UK agriculture.
The webinar will be two hours long, from 10:00 until 12:00 GMT, including two presentations and a facilitated discussion.
To join the talks from Dr Rohan Rainbow (lead author of the current draft Australian Code of Practice for Autonomous Crop Equipment) and Professor James Lowenberg-DeBoer from Harper Adams, please click here to register your place.
