The Controlled Traffic Farming Team at Harper Adams University are celebrating the success of PhD student Magdalena Kaczorowska-Dolowy for her work on the Traffic & Tillage Project.
Meeting the with project sponsors, Magdalena presented her three year PhD data on the effect of different traffic and tillage systems on soil structure, crop development and yield, and the resulting soil environment. The project was well received by those in attendance, including the Trustees of the Douglas Bomford Trust and The Morley Agricultural Foundation, Vaderstad and Michelin. Magdalena was congratulated for her excellent work.
The supervisory team are looking forward to continuing this work on the long term Traffic & Tillage Project in the next 3 year phase, for which they are currently wishing to recruit a further PhD student. For further details contact Dr Paula Misiewicz on pmisiewicz@harper-adams.ac.uk.
