Zero-Waste jam, chutney and preserve range now on the menu for Harper graduate Annabel.

    5 May 2021

The Harper Adams Agri-Food and Business graduate behind Annabel’s Deliciously British brand of strawberries, has set out to combine sustainable agricultural practices with eye-catching branding in her new jam, chutney and preserve range.

Annabel Makin-Jones has explained to The Fresh Produce Journal how she designed the range to make full use of the berries, forced rhubarb and honey she grows at her farm near Leeds.

Annabel is also donating to The Prince’s Trust for every jar of her new range that she sells. Her new line includes traditional favourites such as Strawberry Conserve, and a few culinary innovations like, Rhuberry Conserve, a Strawberry Chilli Chutney, and a Rhubarb and Mango Chutney.

Read more about Annabel, her sustainable farm practices and her products in  The Fresh Produce Journal.
