Amy Haddow has spoken to The Scottish Farmer Online about the journey she has undertaken to pursue her dream of becoming an auctioneer.
In the piece, Amy details how she is half-way through her four-year traineeship with Lawrie and Symington and looks forward to joining the ever-growing number of female auctioneers.
Amy, who is working through the Harper Adams professional short course in Livestock Market Operations, started her career as an administration assistant and one year into her job took the opportunity to become a field-person.
