    28 June 2021

Harper graduate, Will Roobottom, has spoken to That’s Farming about his career journey from almost becoming an accountant to developing a flock of 160 Lleyn ewes on his family farm.

In the article, Will, an Agriculture with Farm Business Management graduate discusses how he wanted to pursue a non-agricultural career in his teens but changed his mind after returning home and working on the farm.

The 24-year-old, who works part-time for an agricultural marketing company, admits that his favourite part of the job is the breeding and is trying to improve his flock by performance recording and selectively breeding his ewes.

The Staffordshire native also talks about helping with the farm's equine fodder enterprise and creating an educational YouTube channel.
