Events planned to support students making their final university choices.
9 July 2021

Harper Adams University is preparing to host a series of events to help students make their decisions about where to go to university this September and what courses to take.
With increasing numbers of UK students either changing their choices during the Clearing period or applying for the first time over the summer, Harper Adams has launched four events aimed at future undergraduate students in July and August.
On July 22, those interested in zoology can join Programme Manager Dr John Reade and colleagues on our the stunning Shropshire campus to explore the courses and campus, ask questions and take part in learning sessions – including one focussed on “Aliens and Predators”. This will be a physical event on campus and therefore booking is essential.
Then on July 27 there will be a virtual event about careers in and associated courses for the food supply chain. The sector offers a vast range of opportunities in roles from farm gate to plate, yet is often overlooked by those who consider only catering or hospitality careers off the back off their love for food. It will be perfect - whether you are already determined to pursue a career in business or the food industry or are just open to hearing about a sector with boundless opportunities that could offer you outstanding career prospects and security. Booking is required to gain access to the event and all of its additional resources.
And on August 11 and 13, after results have been published, the University is hosting open days specifically geared towards Clearing and Adjustment candidates, with the chance to explore the campus, meet course tutors and students, discuss your application with our Admissions team and more.
In addition, potential Postgraduate students seeking to boost their skills and knowledge, or even change career, can find out more at the Virtual Postgraduate Open Day on July 15th.
Information and access to booking forms for all events can be found at harper.ac.uk/events
