Harper Adams Rural Estate and Land Management student Sion Thomas is taking on the Welsh Three Peaks challenge to raise money for Hywel Dda Health Charities.
Sion, 21, alongside his family will climb Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen Y Fan, with the aim of raising £10,000 for the Intensive Care Unit at Glangwili Hospital in memory of his father - Meirion.
The Thomas family run a 252-acre beef and sheep farm in Llanwrda.
