Mechanical Engineering graduate David Beattie has been featured in the latest Sheep Farming segment in That’s Farming.

David discusses his flock of Lleyn sheep and whether or not sheep farming is a viable business venture in 2021.

Working as a self-employed engineer, David is a part-time farmer who chose to concentrate solely on Lleyn Sheep due to their high proficiency, hardiness, and suitability to part-time farming.

The county Cavan native also talks about his successes at livestock markets and shows and future plans for his 300-ewe flock.
