Harper Adams Students’ Union marks Time To Talk Day with a range of events to help spark conversations.

    3 February 2022

Harper Adams Students’ Union haven taken the lead this Time to Talk Day 2022 with two dedicated dog petting events.

It’s been one of a range of Mental Health related events organised by the Students Union throughout the week – and the canine companions certainly proved popular during this morning’s event!

Time to Talk Day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health.

We all have mental health, and by talking about it we can support ourselves and others - and each of this week’s events have been organised to offer an informal way to help spark a conversation.

As well as the dog petting, arts and crafts, board games and more, there were also opportunities for students and staff to simply come and speak openly about their mental health - whether having a cup of tea in the Students’ Union or on a walk around campus.
