Students and staff from Veterinary Nursing and Veterinary Physiotherapy courses at Harper Adams University, and from the Harper Keele Veterinary Medicine School enjoyed their annual Veterinary Dinner.
The event was held at Staffordshire Showground and included a prosecco reception, a three-course meal and an after party.
Local veterinary practices, and teaching staff donated a variety of prizes for the raffle which raised £670.
One student even won a meal cooked for her by Professor Matt Jones, Head of The Harper and Keele Veterinary School
The money raised will be split between The PDSA, and veterinary mental-health charity Vet Life.
One of the student organisers, Imogene Munns had this to say about the night’s proceedings:
“It was a fantastic and successful night, which brought veterinary nursing, veterinary physiotherapy and veterinary medicine students together.
“We raised a great sum of money for our chosen charities and can’t thank everyone enough for their support from donating prizes to buying raffle tickets.
“It was great to see everyone having fun especially after the last few years with Covid-19 restrictions.”
