Harper Adams University is returning once again to home soil at this year’s Newport Show with innovations in agriculture and engineering at the forefront.
Newport Show is organised and run by Newport and District Agricultural Society as a one-day family event displaying a variety of shows and attractions.
Among the exciting technology on display tomorrow, from virtual experiences to drone demonstrations is our trademark trailer – with a difference!
Harper Adams University Shows and Events Officer Sarah Swinnerton said: “We have a close working relationship with the organisers of Newport Show and are proud to support what is an outstanding event - and our closest agricultural show.
“There will be some exciting things to see in the Harper Adams University Innovation Zone this year, including some of the biggest drones in the world in action, as well as being able to fast forward into the future of agriculture with our fully immersive VR experience.”
The Engineering Department at Harper Adams have been hard at work constructing an impressive five-metre-square cage for a series of drone demonstrations – which is definitely worth a visit.
Sarah added: “There are so many different activities and displays to take part in – plus the opportunity to find out more about the variety of courses we have on offer, our research and the work we do in Shropshire and beyond.”
