Farm visit: crucial for developing students' understanding

    20 October 2024

Out and about yesterday morning visiting a farm that will be the basis for a farm planning exercise for our land management students and apprentices at Harper Adams University as part of the Farming Systems and Environment module. Our employers tell us that they want our graduates to have a good understanding of farming and so hopefully that is what this assignment task will help to develop within our students.

We are always grateful for our partners from the farming community who help us do this by allowing us to use and visit their farms for this purpose. We are always looking out for farm and estate visits within a reasonable distance of the University, and so if you have any contacts that might be willing to work with us then please drop me a direct message because together we will make a difference.
