    Vice-Chancellor welcomes High Commissioner for India, as engineering academics head overseas

    The University was pleased to welcome Dr Aman Puri, the High Commissioner for India, from the Consulate General of India in Birmingham, to the campus to see and learn about our work in agricultural technology and discuss academic and industry links with India. Dr Puri is pictured with Harper Adams Vice Chancellor, Dr David Llewellyn. 

    Head of Engineering, Parmjit Chima, and Lecturer/researcher Kit Franklin have also just visited India. They visited Punjab Agricultural University, and Kit presented at the AgriTEX Conference in Hyderabad. Kit is one of the researchers leading the Hands Free Hectare autonomous farming project which completed its harvest last week.
