The Harper Adams Hockey Club is an established and large sports club at the university. We have four teams that successfully participate in the BUCS league and this year we have the potential to start a social team for members who do not wish to play competitively. Training occurs on a Monday and Tuesday evening for boys and girls, with occasional mixed sessions and the astro is available to use if you want to have a knock around.
Matches take place on a Wednesday afternoon against other universities, which can be home or away. This year, the hockey club would like to establish a strong link with RAG, and therefore we aim to have a charity hockey match once a term to raise money for the university charities, alongside other fundraising activities.
We pride ourselves on our socials, and all club members are welcome to come along to the socials to join in on a Wednesday evening. We also encourage our members to get to know each other with movie nights and other socialising.
If you would like to join or learn more about the Hockey Club then come and speak to us at Freshers Fair, where we will be able to answer your questions. In the meantime, like our Facebook page: Harper Adams Hockey Club to keep up to date.
