Harper Adams students complete Three Peaks Challenge for good cause
9 October 2017
Harper Adams students have completed the Three Peaks Challenge raising funds for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute.
The four students; Guy Groves, Ben Ward, Ed Caudwell and James Latter, completed the Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, raising £1,577 for RABI.
The money raised has contributed towards supporting a Shropshire farmer through a difficult time, when pressures of managing the farm alongside a family illness became too much. Thankfully a farming neighbour recognised that help was needed and called the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute who sent a trained welfare officer to visit the family.
Thanks to the Harper students and other local Shropshire businesses the family have received the support they needed.
