Meet the graduates: Lucy Barnes

Lucy Barnes graduated from the BSc (Hons) Agri-Business programme and now works for Tulip Agriculture, in the Supply Chain team, working between the farmers and customers,  working with Waitrose in particular.

Lucy is on the Tulip Graduate Sheme, which takes her through the whole farm to fork process of pork, with the added bonus of management training. “I will be put in the position where I can gain an industry recognised qualification next year,” said Lucy, whose long term ambition is to set up a pig production business on her family’s farm. Lucy added: “I have gained such a great network from being at Harper Adams, both with friends and in business.’’
