Maxwell Studer, 24 from Martley, Worcester, has been awarded the John Deere Trophy when he graduated from Harper Adams University with a first class honours BSc Agricultural Engineering.
The prize is awarded to the best BSc (Hons) Agricultural Engineering student.
Max spent his Industry placement year working for International Energy Crops Ltd based in Shropshire. It was there he gained experience in the design, development and installation of a wide range of biomass solutions.
Programme manager, Greg Rowsell said: “I am delighted that Max has now secured a graduate engineering role as a project engineering for Al Yaseah Oil & Gas Industry Supplies and Services based in Abu Dhabi. Max was an excellent student and graduated from Harper Adams University with a first class honours BSc Agricultural Engineering.
