    Meet the graduates: Jasper Edwards

    Jasper Edwards, 22 from, Wantage, Oxfordshire has been awarded the Mecalac Construction Equipment UK Ltd shield when he graduated from Harper Adams University in late September.


    The award is presented to the best student on the BSc Off Road Vehicle Design Course.
    Jasper spent his industry placement year at Terex Compact, based in Coventry, which gave him the opportunity to work in a range of engineering roles within the company. He spent much of his placement in the design part of the company and for his honours research project Jasper undertook a challenging design study for an engineering company.


    For his honours research project he investigated the complex issue of mirror vibration on off-highway construction equipment.


    After leaving Harper Adams University, Jasper has pursued a career in design and has secured a position as a graduate design engineer.
