Meet the graduates: Isabelle Pye

Isabelle Pye, 22, from Preston, Lancashire, received the Anglia Farmers Extra Mile Award when she graduated from the FdSc Business Management with Marketing course at Harper Adams University in September. 
The award aims to recognise the student who committed themselves to getting the most out of their time at the University and who helped improve the learning experience for other students.

Senior lecturer Jane Headley said: “Isabelle was a clear contender form the outset for the Extra Mile Award. The judges were impressed with Isabelle’s ‘get up and go’ approach and that she used the skills learned at Harper Adams to be part of a game rearing business and that she presented her entry for the award in a clear, concise manner.
 “During her time at Harper Adams University, Isabelle has clearly shown a passion in helping other’s in particular helping fellow students with learning disabilities.”

 Isabelle has also contributed to sports while a student at the University, she has been an active member of the shooting club.
