Harper Adams University alumna Alice Geddes has won Veterinary Practice SQP of the Year and Mastermind Award at the National SQP Awards.
Alice has been working at Synergy Farm Health in Evershot, Dorset since 2013. She became a Suitable Qualified Person (SQP) in January 2014 and graduated this September from the MSc Veterinary Pharmacy course at Harper Adams.
For her research-based dissertation within the practice, she looked at the dispensing error of sheep drench guns. It’s hoped the paper will be published in the Vet Record in early 2018.
Senior lecturer Dr Alison Pyatt said: “I’m thrilled that Alice received these two awards at the National SQP Awards this year. They highlight the great work that she does and her achievement of the MSc Veterinary Pharmacy qualification.
“Harper Adams are pleased to sponsor the National SQP Awards which provide a brilliant opportunity for SQPs to be recognised.”
