    Rabobank/M&S Scholarship: Lydia Aaron

    6 March 2018

Lydia Aaron, a BSc (Hons) Agri-Business student from Rugby, Warwickshire, has recently been awarded the Rabobank Agri-food Scholarship in association with Marks & Spencer at Harper Adams University.

Lydia, 19, said: “The opportunity to work with M&S, as it’s such a reputable company, and to be endorsed by a widely respected bank, is an extremely unique opportunity.

“The financial aid will help provide security during both my studies and placement year. I look forward to my placement year as it’ll give me invaluable experience in the industry.

“While working at M&S Headquarters, in Paddington, London, I’ll be involved in a project determined by M&S. It’ll help grow my knowledge of working within the industry as I’ll be working with M&S’s suppliers and other important individuals to achieve the best quality research.

“While at Harper, I’ve joined the rowing club and competed in a number of events; such as the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) league.

“After graduating from Harper, I’d like to work within the supply chain, with both suppliers and industry partners. This will help me to utilise my agricultural skills and business knowledge, helping me to work towards a sustainable future.

“I’d like to thank the M&S Rabobank scholarship panel greatly for this incredible opportunity.”
