    July Court Lunch

    7 July 2017

Written by Martin Anderson: "The BDCI and WCB support Harper Adams through a number of scholarships, equipment, facility and course development funding. Their generous ongoing support helps students develop at all levels from school leavers to postgraduate students, many of who go on to become industry leaders in the meat sector.

"Harriet told me that she thought it a really incredible experience, a chance to meet industry leaders in a welcoming and impressive environment, she found it really memorable and would like to express thanks for the experience as well as the generous scholarship.

"While Ashley said she'd like to thank the company for her invitation to attend the luncheon, she found the opportunity to network with the meat industry enjoyable but really valued the opportunity to say thank you in person to some of the people involved in her scholarship.

"Jess commented that it was wonderful to meet a mixture of different people who are members of the Worshipful Company of Butchers and BDCI, who all have different backgrounds within the UK meat industry. It was great to come away with some contacts! She hopes that she will these people meet again throughout her career."
