Hua Ying Baker, BSc (Hons) Automotive Engineering (Off Highway) student, has received the Douglas Bomford Trust Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Hua Ying Baker, 20, from Ashbourne, Derbyshire said: “This scholarship will help to support me financially in purchasing course-related books, as well as allowing me to explore different possibilities as an engineer, including materials and solutions.
“I’ve been passionate about becoming an engineer since I was 14. I took a big leap and enrolled in the JCB Academy to follow my dream.
“I’d like to thank everyone at the Douglas Bomford Trust involved with my application. I highly appreciate this opportunity.”
