The Wipak Group develops and manufactures premium packaging solutions for food, medical instruments and appliances. Two groups of food students visited their Welshpool facility in March.
The food students were informed about the company's history, flexible films, food packaging and the innovative packing solutions developed by Wipak.
Andrew Newbold, Managing Director of Wipak UK, said: "Wipak takes its social responsibility very seriously and pays much attention to such events as the visits that took place earlier this month. We were happy to welcome students to our company and were impressed by the past discussions at the industry level. From the point of view of education, we hope to develop our relations with the university, as well as with the food industry for which he is training."
