All change!

1 May 2018

The Careers Service is currently getting ready for a big change.  We have just completed the last Destination of Leavers from Highe Education (DLHE) survey, which collected the destinations of those who left us from 1st August 2016 to 31st July 2017.  The results of this work will be published in the summer.

All graduates leaving us from 1st August 2017 onwards are now part of the new Graduate Outcomes survey.  The design and details are being fine tuned by the Higher Education Statistics Agency, but the key things you need to know are below.

  • Graduates will be contacted 15 months after leaving, by an external organisation on behalf of Harper Adams and HESA, as part of the national “Graduate Outcomes” survey.
  • They will contact you by e-mail and/or telephone.
  • They will ask questions about your employment or further study, and your university experience.
  • This information and feedback is really important, as it helps us to make sure Harper Adams is supporting you in achieving the outcomes you want.

Because you won't be contacted as quickly, it is vital that you to keep your contact details up to date after graduation please! We are working on ways to make this as easy as possible for you, and will provide further updates on this.

The Careers Service is currently visiting final year lectures to remind students that they can still access advice, information and guidance after leaving Harper Adams, and to raise the profile of the Grduate Outcomes survey.  If you need any more information on further support or the survey you can contact us at
