Chloe Howard, BSc (Hons) Countryside and Environmental Management student, has been awarded a Millichope Scholarship and a Jean Jackson Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Chloe, 19, from Cheadle, Staffordshire said: “These scholarships means an incredible amount to me. It’ll enable me to volunteer with the Shropshire River team for my placement year, by supporting my living costs.
“I decided to take this placement due to my particular interest with air and water, which I’ve developed while studying at Harper.
“My placement will provide me with further practical knowledge and skills to help further my career after Harper.”
On receiving the scholarships, Chloe added: “I can’t thank the scholarship panels enough for their generosity. I really wouldn't be able to do my placement without these scholarships.
“After graduation, I’d like to work in the Environmental Agency.”
