Jerman Scholarship: Morgan Metcalfe

Morgan Metcalfe, BSc (Hons) Food Technology and Product Development student, has received a Jerman Scholarship at Harper Adams University.

Morgan, 20, from Llanrwst, Conwy said: “Earning the Jerman Scholarship has helped to strengthen me for future employment in a competitive industry.

“It enables me to focus harder in my studies and reduces the stress of financial concerns.

“My aspiration following my degree is to gain further experience in the meat retail industry, before one day returning to the family butchers in the market town of Llanrwst, where it has fully earned its local and regional reputation as one of the top butcher’s shops in North Wales.

“I’d like to thank the late Mr and Mrs Jerman for this opportunity. It’s been a pleasure receiving such a prestigious scholarship.”
