James Falkingham, BSc (Hons) Agriculture student, has been awarded a British Poultry Council (BPC) scholarship with Avara at Harper Adams University.
James, 20, from Goole, East Yorkshire said: “I greatly appreciate the Avara scholarship which will help to support me financially through my studies at Harper.
“The opportunity to work on my placement at Avara will help me to develop a better understanding of the processes and management structure within the poultry industry.
“Avara stood out to me because it included the chance to work across a business involved in the whole supply chain rather than just a small aspect.”
