    Am I eligible to graduate?

The Class of 2026 graduation is for final-year students who will have successfully completed all elements of their undergraduate or postgraduate programme between 15 September 2025 and 11 September 2026.

Graduation will be on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Please see the Graduation day page to find out which of the three ceremonies your course is scheduled for.

If you are uncertain whether you are eligible to attend, please contact graduation@harper-adams.ac.uk, setting out your full name, your student ID number and the reason for your query.

Do I need to attend my Graduation Ceremony?

Graduation day is a day like no other, celebrating all your achievements, together with your peers, lecturers and loved ones, but for most graduands it is a ceremonial event, rather than a requirement for completion of their qualification.

If you would like to defer attending your Graduation Ceremony, you might have the option to attend our next Graduation day, on Monday, 11 January 2027. Please contact graduation@harper-adams.ac.uk to arrange this.

If you are not planning to attend for any reason, please still register online to let us know that you will not attend.

Step 1: Register and book tickets for your guests

    Register online

    When completing your online registration:

    • Check your name, this is how it will appear on your certificate and request a change if needed.
    • Check that your contact details and address are up to date - the address noted will be where your graduation certificate will be posted after the ceremony.
    • Book a maximum of two guest tickets.
    • Indicate whether you or your guests have any mobility, accessibility or special requirements (for example, accessible parking, seating, hearing loop).

Your place at graduation is not automatically allocated.  If you fail to register a place by the closing date, you may not be able to attend.

See Deadlines for registration closing date.

Arrangements for graduands or guests with additional requirements

If you or any of your guests have any mobility, accessibility or additional requirements such as accessible parking, seating, or other arrangements (for example, a hearing loop), please advise us during registration.

    Your ticket

You will receive a confirmation email once you have registered for your ticket.  Please carefully check the details.  If anything is incorrect, you can sign in and make amendments up until the registration deadline. After this, please contact graduation@harper-adams.ac.uk, setting out your full name, your student ID number and correct details. Your ticket will also include a complimentary glass of fizz and a Harper Adams brownie.

    Guest tickets

Graduands are entitled to purchase a maximum of two guest tickets to the Graduation Ceremony Marquee. Guest tickets will grant entry to your Graduation Ceremony, and all-day access to the Graduation Village. Guest tickets will also include a glass of fizz and a Harper Brownie.

Additional guests without tickets can attend campus and will have access to watch the Ceremony from the live stream in the Graduation Village.

Depending on the number of graduands attending the ceremonies, we may be able to accommodate additional guests in the marquee for those with exceptional circumstances.

Once registration has closed, no further tickets can be allocated.

For any ceremonies where additional tickets remain available, depending on the number of graduands attending, we may release some additional tickets for sale once registration has closed. We anticipate these tickets would be released in early August, on a first come first served basis, with graduands able to purchase up to four additional tickets until they run out. If additional tickets are available for your ceremony, you will be notified via e-mail.

    Children and babies

No ticket is required for infants under two if seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.

    Ticket collection

Collect your tickets from the Weston Building on the day. Please see our graduation map for all the main areas for the day.

You will need to provide your Student ID and registration e-receipt to collect your tickets.

Your guests will not be able to collect tickets themselves and should wait for you in the Graduation Village. See the graduation timetable for ticket collection opening times.

Tickets are non-transferable and must be collected and used by the graduands themselves.

What if I can’t come anymore?

If you have registered your intention to attend Graduation and are subsequently unable to attend, please sign into the Student Dashboard and update your graduation booking. If the registration window has already closed, please inform us via email at graduation@harper-adams.ac.uk.

Step 2: Hire your academic gowns and book photography

You will need to hire your academic gown from Ede & Ravenscroft Ltd on the Ede and Ravenscroft web portal (see Deadlines for closing date).

Ede and Ravenscroft will be on campus on graduation day to distribute gowns and assist you with putting on your robes correctly. Please see our Graduation Day page for what to wear on the day.

A photography and framing service is provided on the day by Ede & Ravenscroft, who offer both individual and family portraits and a range of certificate and portrait frames. Please book your photography session in advance on the Ede & Ravencroft web portal.
