Teaching Duties

Since 1993 I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of modules covering planning, land use, environmental assessment, business law, agricultural holdings law, tax and valuation.

Currently I teach on the following modules:


  • Rural Geography and Economics
  • Planning and Development
  • Taxation
  • Valuation and Estate Management


  • Planning Law and Practice
  • Rural Estate Taxation and Planning

Research Interests

  • I'm interested in supervising dissertations on topics relating to local taxation, town and country planning and the provision of services in rural areas.
