    Additional Information

    Graduated from Cranfield Institute of Technology in 1989 with a BEng (Hons) degree in Agricultural Engineering.

    Worked for Land Rover for 20 years, working in Chassis Concepts, Vehicle Dynamics, and Hybrid Powertrains. Specialising in electronically controlled chassis systems and 4wd systems, and the development of off road performance objective metrics. Notable projects:- Range Rover air suspension, Discovery active roll control, Discovery III and Range Rover Sport off road target setting, Land Rover's Terrain Response system, Freelander II 4wd.

    Notable achievements:- numerous patents relating to active roll control, the control of differentials, and integration of electronic systems. Joint inventor of Terrain Response. Winner of the Henry Ford Technology Award 2005 for the invention of Terrian Response.

    Other interests:- Historic off road vehicles (Agricultural, Military, Commercial). Vehicle restoration. Steam engines. Making things.
