Having joined Harper Adams in October 2005 as Catering Manager. My role oversees the food offerings across campus. With a particular focus on :-
Prior to this role, I have nearly 28 years’ experience in the HE sector having fulfilled similar catering Bradford & Central Lancashire Universities.

David was elected onto the Board of Governors as a staff member in March 2011. With over 15 years in university catering organisations David took on his current role as Catering Manager at Harper Adams in October 2005.
Prior to Harper Adams David headed up catering departments at Bradford University & University of Central Lancs. He is a trained chef with over 10 years’ experience in professional kitchens and holds master’s degrees in Food Safety Management & Business Administration.
In October 2008 Catering Services achieved the coveted Times Higher Education ‘Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Development’ award. In April 2009 David was also shortlisted for the Cost Sector Catering Awards in the University College category and in July 2009 the department was shortlisted for the Sustainable Business category at the Catey Awards.
David is an advisor to the Food Standards Agency’s Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Safety of Food (ACMSF) and was a consultant to the BBC on the hit show ‘The Restaurant’ and ‘Out of the Frying Pan’.
