A Harper Adams alumnus strong ties to the Agri-food Supply Chain, Robert prides himself in grass roots approach to the gate to plate process.
After completing his undergraduate degree within the food department at Harper Adams, he joined one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of sport nutrition products as a specifications writer and animal products export manager, progressing up to Quality Lead.
He then expanded his product catalogue into the ingredients supply chain sector as a hygiene pest control and lead quality auditor. Following this he was asked to join one of the UKs biggest salad growers to support their conversion from greenhouse grown salads to hydroponics before he returned to Harper Adams as a Technician supporting teaching and learning.
Robert has since joined the University's Health and Safety Team bringing together industry knowledge, Best practice and ability to adapt to systems thinking.
