Following the completion of my BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology and MSc in Animal Welfare and Conservation I began my PhD research at Harper Adams in 2019 on the "Behavioural, physiological and production effects of cow-calf rearing systems" (sponsored by Devenish Nutrition and the Silcock Fellowship for Livestock Research). The research aims to investigate how dairy cow-calf rearing systems affect calves and the implications of those rearing systems on farm and for the animal as it develops.
