    Teaching 

    University Lecturer specialising in Beef and Sheep Production, teaching a variety of topics related to sustainable, agroecological and regenerative livestock production and animal science.

    Research

    I also carry out cross-disciplinary academic research on improving the sustainability of pasture-based beef and sheep production systems, with a particular interest in soil-plant-animal interactions and system analysis. I have over ten years of experience working on collaborative, transdisciplinary, applied research projects involving various academic and industry partners.

    Research expertise include:

    • Grazing and grassland management
    • Livestock production and efficiency
    • Livestock behaviour, health and welfare
    • Soil quality and health
    • Meat science
    • Precision Livestock Farming and Agri-technology
