Daisy Douglas

Governor Profile

Daisy is an engineering student and has been elected as the Student Union President for the 2024/25 academic year, where she will be an advocate for students, representing them in committees and boards to make sure students opinions are heard in both academic and social aspects of their university experience. She will help plan and organise SU events and ensure clubs and societies are run to be the best they can so the most enjoyment can be had from them. Daisy has always been involved with the harper community and the student’s union since she started at Harper by being a part of various clubs and societies such as motorsports and women’s rugby and also by taking on the roles of course rep and student ambassador. She took on the role of SU president because she wants Harper to be a safe and enjoyable place for everybody by being a proactive and approachable representative. She is dedicated to making positive changes that will benefit our whole community by taking students voices, suggestions and concerns further.

In her spare time, she enjoys being in the outdoors, spending time with her family and cats as well as baking and rock climbing.
