    Dr Jun Li is a senior lecturer in Applied Data Science at Harper Adams University. He has a BSc, MSc and PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence respectively. His teaching and research expertise are in the areas of Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Software Engineering and Mathematical Modelling, with research topics such as Computational Flow Dynamics study using Machine Learning approaches, Neural Network language modelling with noises, transport flow analysis using complex networks, urban agglomeration formation modelling and imbalanced economy recovery modelling. Dr Jun Li is also a computer scientist and researcher, who is currently working on fundamental Artificial Intelligence and developing a set of intelligence equations toward an Artificial General Intelligence framework based on a bottom-up neuro-symbolic approach, alternative to the generative pre-trained transformer method.
