Privacy information

As a visitor to the University, we will collect and process your Personal Data for Security and Health and Safety purposes. This will allow us to know who has been on our premises for security purposes or in the event of an unforeseen event such as a fire alarm.

We will collect your name, purpose of the visit, car registration number, telephone number (preferably your mobile number) and if applicable, your company details. We may share this information with departments within the University. Your personal data will not be used for Marketing purposes. It will be retained in a safe and secure manner, for a maximum of two year.

The lawful basis for processing this information is as it is necessary for:

Performance of a contract; Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject; Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another person; Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

Data Protection rights

Please note: we have a limited number of EV charging points and cannot guarantee that one will be available during your visit, as this is dependent on demand.

By registering, you agree to comply with the university's parking rules and to your vehicle registration being shared with parking enforcement as a vehicle authorised to park on campus. All vehicle details are stored securely in the parking system - you DO NOT need to display a printed permit.
If travelling in a hire car and you do not know the registration, please enter the words HIRE CAR instead of the car reg.
If your party is travelling in multiple cars please complete this form for each car, as all cars need to be registered for parking on campus.
