Chief Veterinary Officer for Wales, Dr Christianne Glossop, visited Harper Adams this week to give a presentation about who is responsible for animal welfare.
Dr Glossop also addressed questions raised by staff and students who attended the open forum at the University College.
Key themes explored during the talk included the current GB Animal Health and Welfare Strategy, infectious disease control, promoting the good work of farmers and the perceived differences between companion animals and those bred for commercial use.
