More than 60 Shropshire-based photographers are displaying their best ‘countryside and the environment’ themed works at a special digital exhibition at Harper Adams University College.

The event, which is taking place in the Harper Adams Bamford Library foyer from November 4-11, will feature more than 200 photographs taken across the world ranging from insects to beautiful landscapes.

Judging is now taking place to choose the top four photographs which will be displayed in the new Graze Cafe on campus, which is being opened next month, for up to a year.

Acting Communications Manager, Janine Heath, has been busy collating the photographs. She said: “It is fantastic that so many keen photographers have submitted work into the exhibition here at Harper Adams.

“We’ve had both amateurs and professionals enter, but really we are looking at the subject and composition of the photographs, rather than the quality of camera. All photographs submitted will be in the exhibition in the library.”

Visitors are encouraged to drop in and view the free electronic exhibition and leave comments in the guest book at any point during the week of the event.

    The library opening times are Monday – Thursday 08:45 – 22:00, Friday 08:45 – 17:00 and Saturday – Sunday 10:00 – 17:00.
