A Pudsey Bear-shaped fair trade fruitcake has raised £100 for Children in Need thanks to staff and students at Harper Adams.
The bright yellow iced cake, which travelled around campus last week, was raffled off with the winner chosen at random. Other prizes included a tray of Pudsey biscuits and a tray of Pudsey fairy cakes.
Individual fairy cakes were also on sale last Friday, with proceeds again being donated to the charity that strives to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
The prizes were all made by the catering department, with Jenny David, Booking Administrator, producing the main Pudsey cake. This was created using all fair trade ingredients.
Pudsey even had his own Twitter page, updated by placement student, Mitchell Hall.
