Student ball brings more festive cheer to Harper

Hundreds of students dressed up in their most festive gear to attend this year's Christmas Ball.

The ball, held on Friday (December 10), in the Student Union and adjacent marquee was another success - thanks the Summer Ball Committee which organised the event.

The theme this year was a Christmas Carol and Student Union President, Pete Dodd, said around 1,400 students attended.

Some came in full Santa fancy dress, while others added a touch of tinsel or mistletoe to their formal dress to dance the night away.

Pete Dodd said: "I want to say a big thank you to the Summer Ball Committee for organising yet another fabulous event, and to all the students who came who helped to make it such a successful ball."
