Scholarship opportunities for postgrads
Posted 7 April 2011
Postgraduate students looking to study at Harper Adams University College are being encouraged to apply for four specialist scholarships.
The Professional Postgraduate Scholarships are open to students interested in the following areas – land management, farm and agri-business management, sustainable agriculture/crop protection and agronomy, and business.
Successful applicants will receive £1000, with £500 paid following registration in September 2011, and the remaining amount paid on completion of the first year of studies.
Postgraduate Programmes Manager, Emma Tappin, said: “Following the success of the scholarships this academic year, we saw the value in continuing them for future applicants entering the agri-food sector.
“There is still time to apply for a postgraduate course at Harper Adams, with scholarship applications closing on August 26.”
Open afternoons take place regularly to showcase the postgraduate facilities and Harper Adams campus to future applicants. The next available date is May 6.
