Greeting cards featuring work by Shropshire-based photographers are now on sale at Harper Adams University College.

The eight-card packs, costing £4, are the result of the Photography Exhibition held on campus earlier this month.

Scenes include sheep on the Long Mynd, Mitchell’s Fold, deer on high alert and Chirk Viaduct. These were selected from more than 240 entries to the exhibition by a panel of judges.

Event Organiser, Janine Heath, said: “These cards are absolutely beautiful, and it is all thanks to the photographers that submitted work to the exhibition.

“We hope that people will enjoy sending them to friends and family as birthday cards or thank-you notes. They also make excellent gifts and stocking fillers.”

The results of the ‘rural landscapes and structures’ themed exhibition were announced at a special event on campus, sponsored by Strutt & Parker and Savills.

Overall winner, Martin James from Church Aston, said: “It’s fantastic to be chosen as the winner as I thought it fitted the theme well, I’m very pleased with the result.”

Cards will be on sale at the Farmers Market on December 4, 10-2pm, and are available to order from the website at http://www.harper-adams.ac.uk/payment/

They are being sold complete with envelopes and cellophane wrap at one pack for £4, two for £7 and three for £10.
