Governors, students, staff and friends of Harper Adams last night said a fond farewell to Alison Blackburn OBE, who stepped down as Chairman of the University College's Board of Governors.
Guests filled the elegantly decorated function rooms of the Regional Food Academy to give Mrs Blackburn the best possible send off.
Dr David Llewellyn, Principal, paid tribute to a dedicated, hard-working supporter of the University College.
In return, Mrs Blackburn shared her memories of her years working with the University College, and thanked colleagues for her leaving gifts, which included a stunning replica of the stained glass window over the stairwell in the original college building.
